TDEE & Calorie Goal Planner

Estimate TDEE and BMR, check a cutting goal, and calculate guarded calorie, macro and hydration starting points with advanced body-fat settings.

Plan daily calories, macros and hydration

Estimate total daily energy expenditure with the 2023 NASEM adult EER equations, which use separate sex- and activity-specific coefficient sets for age, height and weight rather than multiplying BMR. The planner also provides guarded calorie, protein, fat, carbohydrate and hydration starting ranges.

Build a calorie starting point

  1. Complete the shared body profile and choose the NASEM activity category that best matches typical weeks.
  2. Choose a goal and review the calorie target together with its deficit and safety checks.
  3. Use macro and hydration ranges as starting points, then compare the equation estimate with real trends over time.

Why calorie needs vary

The selected activity category changes the coefficients inside the 2023 NASEM equation; it is not a multiplier applied to BMR. Population equations cannot observe your individual metabolism or intake, so change plans gradually and use adaptive TDEE only after a consistent log.
